Target Will Start Selling Apple Watch This Week
Today, retailer Target announced that the company would start selling the Apple Watch sometime this week, with plans to have it at all of its U.S. retail locations by October 25. Customers who are interested in buying the Watch online will be able to do so starting October 18.
The retailer says that it will carry 20 different models of the Apple Watch in both 38mm and 42mm sizes. The company specifically made mention of the space grey and rose gold Sport options suggesting that they believe those will be hot sellers. The company also said that “select models and bands” will be available at physical Target locations, but that some “expanded assortment” of models and bands will be found online. Prices will also remain exactly how Apple prices them, ranging from $349 to $599, meaning you can expect to purchase a Stainless steel if your heart desires.
This continues to be a push to get the Apple Watch onto as many wrists as possible, especially with the holiday shopping season right around the corner. What started out as being available online through Apple.com, has now expanded to a variety of retailers including Sprint, T-Mobile, Best Buy and now Target.
Target is calling Apple’s wearable “one of the season’s hottest gift items.”
