Sprint Confirms Plans to Sell Apple Watch Starting September 25
Sprint has confirmed its plans to start selling the Apple Watch starting Friday, September 25th, the same day as the launch of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus.
While we are not sure how carriers will price the Watch, we expect them to fall in line with Apple’s prices, with the potential introduction of monthly plans or even some subsidized prices. We also expect Sprint to only carry the Sport and potentially the Stainless Steel model, but not the Edition.
T-Mobile has not formally announced that they will start selling the Apple Watch, but it is believed that they may start selling the Watch on the same date.
Apple is in the beginning stages of a rapid expansion of retail availability of the Apple Watch, launching it in countries like Ireland, Denmark, Australia, and Belgium, a situation that was far different just sa few months ago. We expect to see this more and more as the months roll on going into the holiday shopping season.
