T-Mobile Will Begin Selling the Apple Watch Starting at $14.54 a Month
After a few weeks of rumors, it looks like T-Mobile will in fact begin selling the Apple Watch this Friday alongside the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. As I sort of predicted, the company is offering some interesting payment options, including zero-interest options over a two year period. The payment plan only applies to the Sport models, which start at $349 for the 38mm and go up to $399 for the 42mm. Do the math and you pay roughly $14.54 a month for the 38mm and $16.62 for the 42mm.
Unfortunately, T-Mobile is not offering these zero-interest payment plans on anything but the Sport, so if you want the stainless steel model, you’ll have to shell out the full price which starts at $549.
Personally, I think this is interesting and could mean quicker adoption of the Apple Watch. Time will tell if I’m right.
