Huawei Watch Will Compete With Apple Watch with Pricing Between $350 to $800

August 28, 2015

9to5Google has just uncovered the pricing on the Huawei Watch and it looks like the company is looking to sell watches in the range of $350 – $800 bucks. In fact, if you want to pre-order these watches, it looks like you can do so now on Amazon and expect them to be shipped on September 2nd.

At $800 dollars for the gold, we can pretty much bet that that’s not real gold, but basically a faux gold. I’m not sure if these will do well given that they’ll run Android Wear and there will be at least three more competitors in just a few days, but I will say that this is probably the best looking Android Wear smartwatch I’ve seen to date. I’m just glad they were able to complete that circle (ahem Motorola) and didn’t have to put a massive bezel around it (ahem, LG).

Interestingly, the Amazon page indicates that the watch works with iOS 8.2, which would mean that Android Wear will be compatible with the iPhone in the near future, right? That sound interesting too.

IFA is just a few days away so we won’t have to wait long to understand the full details of this watch.

What do you think? Is this nicer than the Apple Watch?
