You Can Now Summon A Tesla Model S With Your Apple Watch (Video)
Just last month Tesla pushed out an update allowing owners of the Model S to use a new feature called “Summon”, which allows owners to remotely move their car without anyone being in it.
While you can only currently use it to move a Model S in and out of a garage, Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk says that in that not-so-distant future you’ll be able to summon your car from across the country and it will come meet you. It’ll even charge itself along the way by stopping at various Supercharger stations. Crazy, right?
Now, iOS developer Allen Wong, known for his popular Remote S for Tesla app allows Model S owners the ability to summon their car… from their Apple Watch.
What’s even cooler is that Wong figured out a way to get around Tesla’s 39 foot limitation. How? We have no idea.
Regardless, this app is super cool and if you’re someone who happens to own a Tesla Model S, boy is having an Apple Watch looking more and more appealing.
