Quanta Rumored To Start Trial Production of Apple Watch 2 This Month
A new report out of China today suggest that trial of the next-generation Apple Watch is expected to begin as soon as the end of January. According to Taiwanese website Commercial Times, the second-generation Apple Watch will be manufactured by Quanta, the same company that manufactured the first-generation Apple Watch.
Rumors of the second-generation Apple Watch have been swirling for quite some time now. Mark Gurman from 9to5Mac reported last year that Apple has been considered putting in a FaceTime camera. And just a few weeks ago word on the street is that Apple plans to hold an event sometime in March. If theses rumors are correct, then starting production later this month would make sense.
Other rumors around the next-generation Apple Watch include an upgraded Wi-Fi chip that would give the device more independence from the iPhone. Apple has also been hiring many folks around health technologies, suggesting that health and fitness will continue to be one of the most important
