The Huawei Watch is here and it starts at $349
Remember the price info that accidentally leaked last week? Well, it was basically dead-on. Today, Hauwei unveiled their smartwatch and just as it was listed on Amazon, they are made of a 316L stainless steel and range from $349 all the way to $799. The watch takes also works with iOS as was suggested in their listing and it also takes standard 18mm bands, in case you were wondering.
The watch is powered by a dual-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 400 with 512MB of ram. It’s 11.3mm thick, making it slightly thicker than the Apple Watches 10.5mm thick body. As for the screen you’ll get a 1.4-inch 400 x 400 AMOLED display covered in sapphire crystal. To be honest, this is probably the best Android Wear watch you can get. From the materials to the display, it doesn’t look like anyone, including Motorola is capable of topping this.
The company also claims that they have the world’s most advanced” heart rate sensor, but that’s yet to be determined and we’ll let you know once we do some testing. In fact, if we’re being honest, this doesn’t look like a watch that you’d want to wear to the gym anyways.
Regardless, the Huawei Watch is finally here. If you’re interested in picking one up, they’ll be available September 17th.
