18 More Banks Come to Apple Pay in Mid-August Update

Eighteen more banks and credit unions in the U.S. have starting supporting Apple Pay after today’s update. The latest additions helps push Apple to over 40 banks around the U.S. from just August alone. Here is a list of all the banks that are bringing support today.

- Community Bank
- Community Bank of Oak Park River Forest
- Corporate America Family CU
- Credit Union of New Jersey
- Del Norte Credit Union
- Empower FCU
- Forum Credit Union
- Gesa Credit Union
- Institution for Savings
- Mid-Missouri Bank
- Owen County State Bank
- Pacific Service Credit Union
- Statewide Credit Union
- Vinton County National Bank
Apple Pay still remains limited to the U.S. and UK, though Apple says they are committed to an international rollout of to service in places such as Canada and China in the near future. According to the WSJ, Apple is planning a November launch of Apple Pay in Canada.
