You Can Now Remotely Start your Hyundai with your Apple Watch

July 1, 2015

Earlier this year, Hyundai brought its Blue Link-connected car platform to Android Wear, giving its users the ability to start their Hyundai cars remotely right from their wrist. Today, Hyundai is bringing this functionality to the Apple Watch.

The app will allow users to remote start their engine, remote lock and unlock their doors, remote light flashing, and find their car via a map. What’s even cooler is that all these features can be activated by voice. The app is compatible with all Blue Link-equipped cars going back to the 2012 Hyundai Sonata.

We imagine that we’ll start to see other car manufactures jump on this bandwagon soon enough allowing people to control their cars right from their wrist. In fact, we’ve seen some folks create independent apps for cars such as the Tesla Model S.

You can grab the app here.
