You Can Now Pre-Order The Blocks Modular Smartwatch

Remember that Blocks modular smartwatch that was initially teased a few months ago? Well now you can pre-order this bad boy for a whopping $330 bucks.

The Blocks watch is available in three colors: onyx black, sunrise red, or marble white. The price includes four modules that you can swap in and out and you can pick from six different options: Heart Rate Sensor, Extra Battery, GPS, Adventure (a sensor that measures altitude, pressure, temperature, and humidity), Flashlight, and Programmable Button. Want more modules? They’ll cost you an additional $35 each.

Modular tech seems to be gaining steam with projects like Project Ara aiming to bring modularity to smartphones. The Apple Watch actually has some modular components with the swapable Watch bands and there are rumors that Apple may extend that concept to smart watch bands for better health tracking.
