This application allows Apple Watch users to conveniently take photos by moving the hand wearing the Apple Watch, or by touching the camera image button showing on the Apple Watch App. The hand movement used to take pictures is active only when the watch app is active on the watch and when the watch screen is on (when the camera image button shows on the Apple Watch screen). The pictures are automatically saved and can be found in the Camera Roll iPhone Photo Library just like pictures taken using the iPhone standard camera. The application allows also photo shooting from within the application without the use of the Apple Watch. However this functionality is already provided by iOS stock camera app. The main purpose of the application is to use Apple Watch gestures for easy picture taking and and in many situations, to eliminate the need of a selfie stick.
In order to use the app, first start the Watch Selfies app on the iPhone, and press the middle button to trigger the camera interface. After that start the app on the Apple Watch, and start taking pictures by gently twisting the wrist with the watch.
