mWoodstove is designed to assist you in maintaining optimal burning temperatures for your wood stove. Optimal burning ensures that you operate your wood stove within safe temperature ranges and maximize the heat output from your fuel supply. The mWoodstove sensor connects to the wood stove via a thermocouple capable of measuring temperatures between 32°F and 1200°F. The sensor incorporates Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to pair it with the mWoodStove app to access recent and historical temperature data. The sensor takes a reading every 15 seconds, storing the most recent 20 minutes on the sensor for easy access via the app.For enhanced functionality, consider purchasing the Cloud+ Subscription. This subscription enables you to upload sensor readings to the Cloud, providing you with 24 hours of historical temperature data. Remote access to the Cloud allows you to monitor your wood stove’s temperature even when you are away from your home. Additionally, Cloud+ permits you to connect up to four sensors and alerts you via push notifications when your wood stove exceeds predefined temperature thresholds. While the mWoodstove was initially designed to work with wood stoves, it can also be utilized with other heat sources, such as furnaces, electric baseboards, gas fireplaces, and more. By monitoring when and for how long these heat sources operate, you can optimize their usage and enhance your overall heating efficiency. Please note that this application requires the purchase and installation of a Temperature Sensor.
