Kumaraswamy Distribution

In probability and statistics, the Kumaraswamy distribution is a family of continuous probability distributions defined on the interval [0,1] differing in the values of their two non-negative shape parameters, a and b.

For Data Entry the Kumaraswamy Distribution app for iPad and iPhone utilizes three Sliders to enter the Shape Parameter (a), the Shape Parameter (b) and the Interval>. The range of the Shape Parameter (a) and Shape Parameter (b) is 1-24. The range of the Interval is 0-1 and is divided into 10 0.1 segments. After moving the Sliders to your selected values enter the Compute button.

The Kumaraswamy Distribution app graphs the Kumaraswamy Proability Density Function f(x) graph for the two entered Shape Paramter (a,b) and for a family of 10 Interval values for the range [0-1]. A unique graph will be displayed for each unique Shape Parameter (a,b) pair. A Data Table displays the x/f(x) values for the Interval [0-1] Range.
