Etheracer is a motorsport timing application designed specifically for the Snowy Mountains 1000 runway sprint event. It uses the GPS features of your iPhone to record your vehicle's performance over the standing 1000m sprint on closed runway surfaces.

SM1000 entrants can use the Etheracer app to enter additional race categories as part of the Snowy Mountains 1000 race day event. A registration code will be provided to all SM1000 entrants at the driver's briefing on the morning of the event.

Etheracer can also be used as a stand-alone timer for testing purposes outside of the SM1000 event. Without a valid SM1000 entrant's code Etheracer will not store or log any timing run data.
