The Friend4Life mobile app is powered by Tata Consultancy Services(TCS).

Smartphone usage has increased exponentially during recent years across globe. However, our senior citizens find it difficult to effectively use their smartphones and the various useful apps due to different reasons.

As a technology major, TCS decided to bridge this gap by bringing a mobile app especially designed for senior citizens which brings the following features:

- A single integrated window for all daily tasks
- Easy and vision friendly navigation through the features with help menu for each feature
- SOS feature for emergency situations like health problem, fire or theft
- Nearby Services for users to locate and navigate to nearby Community Centers, Hospitals, Police Station and Fire Stations
- Easy interface to set reminders for regular medicine - including dosage details - or appointments
- Social Connect feature which helps users to connect with friends and relatives through popular social networking apps with ease and learn the importance of social media through youtube videos, all from the same app
-Multilingual support for users to select their preferred language in the application.
-Voice Assist feature which provides verbal assistance to user by speak aloud during app interaction.

Multilingual support is independent of iPhone(System) language.Hence changing system language will not have any effect on application language and vice versa.Default language of application is English.
