Adappt is a small adapter, that will let you use your Apple Watch with any standard watchband. On one side it will feature Apple’s proprietary plug, on the other one the classic plug used by any watch in the world.
I’m still not sold on the idea that Apple is going to just let anyone make adapters or Bands without having to join a rigorous and expensive Apple licensing program. Still, among the campaigns that are currently out there, this one seems to be the most promising (or, at the very least, the most well-presented).
Adappt is especially unique among its peers for offering a gold plated adapter. Think about the implications of what a gold plated adapter paired with a gold plated Apple Watch could be on the Edition if Apple lets non-proprietary bands flood the market. You could own a gold-looking Apple Watch for $1500!
