This looks interesting. Yes, it’s just a mobile USB battery pack, and if you already have one, your existing solution will work just as well. But its clever cord management will certainly help you pack a bit lighter (or, at least, less cluttered), and the fact that charges via micro USB and has traditional USB output — as well as the support for USB-C (Hello, new MacBook!) — is a nice touch. Future-proofing and added versatility is always a good thing.
Yeah, you still have to take Apple Watch off to charge the thing. But the alternative looks…uncomfortable. And expensive.
