Apple is sending out invitations for Apple Watch developers to get hands-on with the actual device in the build-up to launch. And this offer isn’t only extended to the big-time teams, either. Indie developers all over are receiving the notice, as Apple is leaning on them to make and sell the most compelling use cases for the new wearable. Plus, since Apple Watch is version one of a brand new category of device, app performance is bound to vary wildly from emulator to actual hardware. This final phase of testing guarantees that customers will have the very best apps available from day one.
