Apple Watch Icon Needs More Scott Forstall

When we first saw this thing a month ago, we thought for sure it was just a placeholder. Unfortunately, however, this is the exact Apple Watch icon that shipped in yesterday’s iOS 8.2 update. If ever there was an obvious need for Scott Forstall’s skeuomorphism, it’d be in making a square-shaped icon look just like the square-shaped device it’s selling. But no.

I mean, look at this. What’s it supposed to be? The letter “D”?

I give it an F.
