President Obama Is Interested In Apple Watch

In an interview with Recode’s Kara Swisher, President Obama was asked the question on whether or not he’s used any wearables. Obama expressed that even though he works out regularly, he hasn’t yet adopted a a fitness wearable.

I don’t have a Fitbit yet, but I work out hard. Word is that these Apple Watches might be a good companion for my workout. I’m going to see. I’m going to test it out.

He also says “no comment” when the topic of Google Glass comes up.

Make no mistake (and let him be clear): President Obama will make good use of any accelerometer-based or gyroscopic golf swing training apps the second they become available for Apple Watch. Perhaps the device will do for his game what 219 rounds (and counting) of private army base tee times haven’t.
