Apple Trademark Filings Indicate Ten Apple Watch Models Coming

According to an article on 9to5mac, Apple plans to release ten different models of the ‘Apple Watch 2.’ They found recent Apple trademark filings on a Russian website that indicate this, as well as new iPhones and ‘AirPods,’ which would be Apple’s official wireless headphones.

Whether all ten models filed for actually come to fruition remains to be seen, but the idea of so many different models being offered is interesting. I wonder of some of those models will be original Apple Watches with a slight tech bump. Or perhaps the Apple Watch will be offered in more colors and more materials. An expanded color line would make sense, given that the new iPhones are expected to be offered in a new color this year, like perhaps a shade of blue. It follows that the Apple Watch would be offered in a matching shade. Maybe the Apple Watch will be offered in different sizes or shapes.

All will be revealed on Sept. 7, when the next Apple Event will take place.
