New Watch Faces Coming to Apple Watch with watchOS 3

Apple Watch faces are getting a tweak in watchOS 3. Apple Watch owners everywhere have been clamoring for new watch faces from the very beginning. While Apple didn’t open up the watch face platform to developers as many of us had hoped, they did throw us a bone with brand new watch faces and tweaks to some old ones.

The Activity face, as seen in the photo at the top of this article, looks great for the fitness-obsessed. There are three variations. Having those rings front and center will help keep us working to fill them every day.

I sure wish I’d had the new Minnie Mouse face on my recent trip to Disney World. I love that you can even change her outfit to coordinate with yours, or at least your watch band. As an added bonus, both Minnie and Mickey will speak the time aloud in their own voices.

This elegant new face called Numerals gives you some options for a different look. The hour is represented a number that moves around the watch face. You can choose the font and color. I’m not sure how useful it is, but looks cool.

Even the old faces are getting some tweaks. As you can see in this photo, the Photo face will have the ability to display the weather. Other faces will be getting more complications as well. Additionally, switching between watch faces will be quicker and easier than ever.
