Samsung Announces Gear S2 Band Adapter to Allow for Quicker Band Swaps

In an effort to help Samsung Gear S2 owners chance the style of their bands quickly, Samsung has announced a new “band adapter” allowing users to more easily swap their bands on the Gear S2. With the Band Adapter, it is now easier to attach a 20mm watch strap that you may want from other manufacturers, rather than just the ones produced by Samsung.

The adapter, which comes in either a dark grey or silver, allows users to attach any 20mm strap that uses the standard pin process. Now you can use straps from pretty much anywhere. Yay!

Unfortunately the band adapter is not currently available in the U.S. Instead, if you want one you’ll need to import it from German, South Africa or Singapore.
