KnowWow for Apple Watch brings quick-fire fact learning to the wrist

If you’ve ever wanted to expand your mind through learning more fragments of general knowledge, a recent App Store release called KnowWow might be worth considering. This is a useful and potentially entertaining application for Apple’s smartwatch, and better still, it can be downloaded free of charge.

The app itself is simple. Upon launching it at your wrist, KnowWow presents users with a string of short, quick questions that can be answered with a tap. These are multiple choice, with a handful of options appearing on the Apple Watch’s screen for users to choose. There’s a simple, typically watchOS design of white font on a black background, though from time to time KnowWow also uses color to spice up its questioning.

Of course, it’s possible to play KnowWow independently, but users could also use it to kick off a quiz round with friends and family members.

I’ve been enjoying working through a couple of rounds of KnowWow on my Apple Watch; it’s nice to have the questions available to fire off at any given moment, and it’s fun to use the software to challenge friends if you have a spare moment together.
