Track your water intake using your Apple Watch and WaterMinder

February 13, 2016

Getting enough water each and every day is something many of us (myself included) fail to do. If, like me, you’re the kind of person who not only forgets to drink water regularly, but also forgets how much water you’ve drank throughout the day, an Apple Watch app called WaterMinder will definitely be a must-have.

You can download the iOS app for $1.99, and it’s optimized for the iPhone/iPod touch, iPad, and Apple Watch. Once you’ve configured a goal amount for your daily water intake, adding cups to WaterMinder is made simple by the Apple Watch application. What I love about the app is that it’s really easy to add in new volumes of water with a couple of taps on your smartwatch’s display. WaterMinder lets users either add in preset amounts or custom amounts. As such, you can use WaterMinder perfectly with a range of different cup or bottle sizes.

Based on your body weight (or your personal goal), WaterMinder® will remind you to drink water to reach your daily goals. By seeing current water fill visually and in percents you will instantly know how well you are hydrated!

WaterMinder indeed syncs with the Health app in order to port your data there. It also draws your personal information in order to set your daily water intake goals. You can switch measurements for volume and reminders can also be scheduled inside WaterMinder, too. There’s even a Watch face complication that provides information on your current hydration levels. All of this makes it easier than ever to take control of your water intake and to stay properly hydrated. Of course, the benefits of doing so are both numerous and significant.

You can download WaterMinder now for $1.99. It’s without doubt an app we’d recommend for anyone looking to improve their water intake, and for this reason it’s worth the price.
