Apple Seeds First watchOS 2.2 Beta

January 11, 2016

Today Apple seeded the first version of an upcoming watchOS update dubbed watchOS 2.2 to developers. The 2.2 beta can be downloaded through the dedicated Apple Watch app on an iPhone running iOS 9.3 beta by going to Software update.

It’s not exactly clear yet what’s included in watchOS 2.2, but we’re hearing that lot more bug fixes and performance improvements are a part of this release. This update comes just a month after watchOS 2.1 was released which also contained numerous bug fixes to address issues with third-party apps, Calendar, Power Reserve mode, and more.

Update:

Apple says that one of the features of watchOS 2.2 is the iPhone’s ability to pair with more than one Watch.
