Jeb Bush Says Apple Watch is 'Not As Intuitive As Other Apple Products'
Jeb Bush sat down with Business Insider a few days ago after a Town Hall meeting in Milford, New Hampshire to discuss all things technology. If you didn’t know, Bush is an Apple Watch owner, and has been wearing his Watch for quite some time, saying that “Until somebody comes with something better, I’ll probably keep buying it.”
However, Bush says that the Watch isn’t as intuitive as other Apple products he uses.
It requires a lot more work than it needs to. It’s not as intuitive as other Apple products. The battery gets out too quick. I don’t have time to learn all the applications. But it’s cool.
Bush believes Apple will improve the Watch significantly in the next few iterations, which he says will “make it easier for guys like me to use it.”
(So much for Apple Watch replacing Obamacare, eh, Jeb?)
Bush’s comments mimic many others who believe the Watch to be somewhat confusing and not as easy to use as the iPhone or iPad was out of the box. That said, it hasn’t stopped Apple from selling millions, with the latest estimates suggesting that Apple could sell upwards of 20 million within the first 12 months. Not bad.
Apple has not confirmed any sales figures, but many believe the Watch to be a hot item for the holidays, including retailers like Best Buy and Target who have been discounting the Sport by $100 in order to get people through the door.
Confusing or not, this thing is selling. That said, we agree with Bush on the Watch. It could be a little more intuitive. I suspect we’ll see that with watchOS 3.
