Sworkit Pro Workout App Updated For watchOS 2

October 12, 2015

Want to get in amazing shape? Sworkit Pro aims to make workouts simple and fun with its iOS app. With over 170 different workouts, anywhere from 5 minutes to 60 minutes long, Sworkit’s goal is to make exercising easy and fun.

Today the company has updated its app to include support for watchOS 2. Now the app will read your heart rate in real-time so that you have a better understanding of your activity including calories burned, average BPM, peak BPM, and how many minutes you exercised. The app will also give your Watch the ability fill in your activity rings, something what couldn’t be done before. You can also start and pause your workouts anytime right from your wrist.

Sworkit has received rave reviews with over 3000 users giving it nearly a 5 start rating in the App Store. While we wish you could pick workouts right from your wrist, this app still seems to be the best solution for those of us who want to workout and want that information to be captured and logged through the Watch’s Activity app.

We’ll be testing this app thoroughly throughout the week and we’ll report back on the results. For now, if you’d like to give it a go, you can grab it on the App Store for $3.99.
