BLOCKS Modular Smartwatch To Hit Kickstarter October 13

A few months ago, the team behind the BLOCKS modular smartwatch said that they would begin crowdfunding their modular smartwatch sometime this summer. For most of us, the summer has come and gone, but it still looks like the company is set start its campaign, and it’s going to begin on Kickstarter starting October 13th.

It appears that the BLOCKS smartwatch will have many interchangeable modules, which the company hopes will grow into the thousands. While we’re unsure of the smartwatch will run Android Wear, the teaser video below clearly shows a circular face that looks like many of the Android Wear devices we’ve seen to date. The video also shows links that have different electronics in them, which can range from GPS to heart rate sensors.
