Samsung's Gear S2 Now Available for Purchase

Samsung’s new round smartwatches, the Gear S2 and the Gear S2 classic, are now available for order online. With the starting price at at $299 for the Gear S2, and the $349 for the Gear S2 Classic, you can now own Samsung’s Tizen-based smartwatch.

We have yet to see any real reviews of the Gear S2, but many initial thoughts praised the rotating bezel as well as the quality of the build. Clearly, Samsung aims to take on  the Apple Watch this holiday with these watches. Because the watch is based on Tizen, Samsung says that it works best with Samsung phones, however, the watch is also suppose to work well with other Android phones too.

If you’re interested in picking one of these up, Amazon and Best Buy are probably your best bets. Right now we’re only seeing the black “sport” version in stock, but we’re pretty sure the white and silver sport as well as the Classic will be available shortly.
