Fossil Shows Off The Fossil Q Running Android Wear

September 28, 2015

Android Wear watches continue to flood the smartwatch marketplace over the past 12 months. From the LG G Watch and Samsung Gear, to the Huawei Watch and LG Urbane, there’s truly been no shortage of round Android Wear watches.

Enter the Fossil Q.

Fossil Q

Fossil showed off three new Fossil Q devices at the Baja East and Dion Lee fashion shows in New York last week. The first two actually have nothing to do with Android Wear. In fact, the first two are actually connected bracelets without displays, but are supposedly going to with Android, iOS, and Windows software. However, the last one is actually a full-blown Android Wear watch.

We’ve seen pictures in the past of the supposed Fossil watch, which apparently is being built in conjunction with Intel. While it’s not easy to see, it does look like this watch gets rid of the Moto-360 flat tire that was there when we this was originally shown off.

Fossil isn’t saying when these devices will be available, only that they’ll be ready in time for the holidays.

We’ll keep you updated as more information rolls in.
