OpenFolio Lets you Track Your Investments Right From Your Wrist

September 23, 2015

OpenFolio – an iOS app that benchmarks your trading performance against its network, the markets and peers – is bringing its platform to the Apple Watch. The app, which syncs with most major brokerage firms, lets you easily track your performance in real-time with a simple glance of the wrist.

Many of us may have trading accounts, but I’ve found that pulling info and seeing how I’m doing can be quite cumbersome. Many apps don’t take advantage of quick Touch-ID login, and seeing how I’m doing for the day takes a little bit too many taps.

OpenFolio not only solves this, but it tracks my performance and shows me how I’m doing compared to others in the network. They also allow me to follow well-respected investors and see how they’re doing. While the Watch app doesn’t offer most of this, it does offer the most important thing: A complication that lets me see my portfolio percentage of the day. Now, I can glance down at my wrist and get a quick 1-second summary of how I’m doing. If I want to dive in more, just tap the complication and I’m brought into the Watch app.

If you’re someone with a trading account, and you want to keep tabs on how you’re doing with a simple glance of the wrist, consider checking out OpenFolio. It’s free and it’s great.
