Apple Delays watchOS 2 Launch Due to Critical Bug

Apple has discovered a critical bug in watchOS 2 and has decide to withhold today’s anticipated update in order to fix it. While we aren’t sure what exactly what the bug is, Apple is saying that it will take a “bit longer” to fix.

“We have discovered a bug in development of watchOS 2 that is taking a bit longer to fix than we expected,” an Apple spokesperson told TechCrunch. “We will not release watchOS 2 today but will shortly.”

Apple has not yet officially announced a new release date, but has told TechCrunch that the software will not come out today.

Hopefully this doesn’t impact the release of iOS 9.
