Video: Hands-on Replica Apple Watch Link Bracelet

YouTube user, Ian Fann, has posted a video of what appears to be a Replica Apple Watch Link Bracelet. The video shows and unboxing and fitting of the band on a stainless steel Apple Watch.

From the looks of it, the band closely resembles the pattern of the Stainless Steel Link Bracelet built by Apple until it gets to the area where the buttery fly clasp exists. Clearly the people making these replicas are unable to match the innovation Apple was able to set forth when building this band. Another area that’s obviously a problem is in the adjustment of the band itself. Unlike Apple’s Link Bracelet, which requires no tools and uses quick-release buttons, this replica requires some special tools that resemble what you would use to adjust a traditional band (pins).

Other than that, this band seems to look close to Apple’s and costs about 1/5th of what Apple’s does according to our sources. We’ll be getting one of these soon an doing our very own hands-on. In the meantime, check out the video below.
