Apple seeds watchOS 2 Beta 4 for Apple Watch
July 21, 2015
As Apple continue to develop for watchOS 2 for Apple Watch head of its Fall release, the company has released its fourth beta to developers today.
The updates a bunch of improvements to the OS including support for third-party complications, new Watch faces, a new Nightstand mode, refinements for things like Siri, and of course native apps.
The last beta included improvements to battery and Notification Center bugs as well as support of Apple Music. Interestingly, one of the features we’ve seen in the newest beta is improved legibility of complications on faces for Utility and Modular Watch faces. They now appear to show in color versus a basic black and white.
We’ll update this post as we find more tidbits in the latest beta.
