Rumor: Apple to Launch Apple Watch Sport in Yellow and Rose Gold
In a new research note outlining predictions for Apple’s upcoming financial earnings, well-informed KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo shares some interesting details regarding Apple’s upcoming plans for the Apple Watch.
According to Kuo, Apple may launch two new colors of the Apple Watch Sport. The colors are said to be a yellow gold and a rose gold that will match the current gold used on in iPhone as well as a rumored upcoming rose gold that will debut with the iPhone 6s.
Kuo also remains somewhat conservative about Apple Watch sales, suggesting Apple sold roughly 3.9 million units in the past quarter. He believes it will be difficult for Apple to reach the Wall Street consensus estimates of round 15 million units by the end of the year.
Kuo has a pretty good track record, but has had some misses in the past. It won’t be long before we’ll find out if he’s right.
