The Secret Key To Apple Watch Success
Although the Apple Watch has already received positive reviews, the company still needs to accomplish one feat for it to be as successful as its other products, Ron Johnson said Wednesday.
“The real job of Apple … is to get people to fall in love with the product [and] to understand how to use it,” J.C. Penney‘s former chief executive told CNBC’s “Squawk Alley.”
“If you can get those first people to buy the watch … and fall in love and show their friends, then it will take off,” Johnson added.
That’s quite the theory.
Mind-numbingly obvious “insights” like this are probably why Johnson is the former CEO of the once mighty retail giant. And it’s probably why Cupertino didn’t fight to keep the guy on when he decided to leave Apple for J.C. Penney in 2011.
