Apple Announces March 9 Media Event, Likely For Apple Watch
Apple on Thursday sent out invites for a special event to be held on March 9, 2015. The event will be held in San Francisco at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, a venue that Apple has used many times before for special events.
It is widely expected that Apple will use the event to give more details about the Apple Watch, which was introduced last September.
March 9th is the day after Daylight Savings starts. Given the use of the phrase “Spring Forward”, this clearly has Apple Watch written all over it. It’ll be interesting to see how Apple discusses in more detail the the value of this device. Many of us saw their September event as a preview. March 9th will likely show us why this device exists.
