Jisoncase Leather Apple Watch Band Offers Quality for Less

Jisoncase sells a leather Apple Watch band that hits the sweet spot between price and quality. It’s not as upscale as the $100 plus bands I’ve tried, but it’s worth checking out if you don’t want to spend that kind of money.

Jisoncase offers a genuine leather band in black, brown, or red. They also offer a crocodile style leather band in black or brown. Each size, style, and color is available for $30.99 on their website. They offer a more limited selection on Amazon for $21.99 to $26.99.

Given the price, I wasn’t expecting too much from this band, which I received in brown genuine leather. But I was pleasantly surprised. It was comfortable, soft, and pliable right out of box with no break-in period. Yet it’s not floppy or flimsy. The band is neither thin or thick, it’s just right. The leather looks and feels like good quality.

It has a lot of holes for a precision fit. I have pretty small wrists, 145mm, but there are still four tighter holes I could use. There are seven looser holes, so I don’t think it would fit someone with an extremely large wrist. The holes are close together so I was able to get a perfect fit.

One thing I didn’t like about this band is the company logo etched on the buckle. I don’t mind branding on the inside of the band, but I don’t like it visible on my jewelry unless it’s a prestige brand. There is one stitch missing right near the adapter, as you can see in the photo below. This is a small thing, and the band doesn’t feel in imminent danger of falling apart, but it’s not perfect.

The buckle and adapters are shiny silver-toned metal, which go nicely with my stainless steel Apple Watch. The adapters fit into the watch easily but not perfectly smoothly. Still, once they are in, they fit securely with no gaps or overhang.

Overall, this band is not going to be the same quality level as Apple’s own leather watch bands or bands from some of the other higher end leather companies.
