Apple Watch In-Store Retail Sales Begin In Two Weeks, Will Also Begin Sales In 7 More Countries

Apple will begin selling various models of the Apple Watch starting in two weeks, according to a press release from the company today. The company will also start selling the Watch in seven more countries including Italy, Mexico, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland and Taiwan on June 26.

Apple has also said that all orders placed in May will ship within the next two weeks, sans the 42mm Space Black Steel model, which is still showing a delivery date of 5-6 weeks. Jeff Williams, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Operations, explained that the company is beginning to finally makes some progress through its backlog of existing orders.

In terms of which models will be available in stores, Apple hasn’t fully disclosed which versions to expect, but our guess would be that most Sport and Steel models will be available. We’ll keep you updated once they go on sale.
