AppoLearning's Top Apple Watch Apps For Education

Our friends over at AppoLearning have put together the beginnings of a really solid list of all the best Apple Watch education apps. They’re adding to it as new stuff comes out, but there are some notable apps already on-board for both students and teachers alike. Here’s a few of our favorites from the selection so far:

Moveo Calc offers a simple, accessible, free calculator experience. And since it echoes the design of the Apple Watch UI, it looks good doing it, too.

Momentum Habit Tracker is a habit tracker, and while non-students can use it for just about anything, budding academics (and flustered first-year instructors) will find it especially useful in helping them develop and manage excellent, efficient classroom skills.

If your school or teacher uses eduClipper, there’s no reason not to let the popular network’s Apple Watch app have a prominent spot on your new wearable.

Sure it’s specialized for basically a single elective course, but Star Walk is one of the few mainstream Apple Watch apps to demonstrate a legitimate workaround to WatchKit’s current animation limitations, and that’s a lesson in industry that every class should embrace.

Last but not least, there’s Proloquo2Go. Hopefully you won’t need this, but for those who do, it’s the industry leader. Expensive, sure, but worth every penny when every word counts.
